Just because your from a larger city like New York doesn't make SF small. That's like a 300 pound man saying a 250 pound man is small just because he's larger.

SF population = under 1,000,000.
Much larger cities aren't always as populated.
SF is hardly "NY part 2", not sure how one would classify that anyway.

SF is a small city, especially when there are larger cities not only in the bay, but in California.
