tI am currently renting a house in merced and have have alot of issues with it. The most recent on is a soggy corner in a room. It has started to mold the wall. The rental company sent someone out to get a estimate on the problem. He said the foundation was likely cracked. (we spoke with the former OWNER and he said the foundation has many problems.) The rental company has their head up their , and unless it is major they won't fix it. The landlord is the same way. Is this something we a break the lease over?

A moldy wall certainly is major. Your health is potentially at risk.

Are you sure they rental company won't do the repairs?

The rental company is stubborn on doing any repairs. Our garage door was kicked in before we moved in and they said they would fix it. 3 months later they did. They will probably fix it. If they don't fix it soon can we break the lease and move?

Well, that's hard to advise over the internet. Looks like ya need to provide written notice requesting the repairs be done and give them time to do them.

It's ok. I'm in Fresno and reached out to help what I could. If they don't have a Fresno section I'll make any section a Fresno section.
