Did anyone feel the aftershock? It was yesterday (Wednesday) around 4pm, and registered at 3.7... I was napping and didn't feel a thing, but that's also a bit small to reach all the way up here. Oh, and I just saw news footage of the San Jose State Library - as a librarian and SJSU alum, I know what a task it'll be to get those books back in place!

But then again, wasn't that "Big One" supposed to happen in the 80's?
I mean the one that was supposed to be HUGE, not when the bridge collapsed
It's working up to it

they were saying on Channel 5 that the quake has put more stress on the northern Calaveras Fault and the Hayward Fault. Apparently the epicenter was right near the southern end of the Hayward Fault-which is a faultline on everyone's radar these days.

I felt the initial quake, that much is certain. I doubt I actually felt any of the aftershocks even the 3.7.
