Hi all,
I'm moving to SF, and I am looking for an area that has good groceries (especially fresh fruits and vegetables) and restaurants (Korean/Japanese are my favorites), character, and preferrably not too much crime. I need there to be a Starbucks, also.
I'd also like it to have a decent bar/nightlife scene, although it doesn't have to have the hippest clubs in all SF or anything like that. Just places where I can go after hours... and also, restaurants that are open after hours. I'm not going to have a car, so I'd like to be able to walk to where I need to...though it doesn't seem like that's a problem in most of SF.
I'm going to be attending CCSF. I don't have to live right by the school, but as long as public transit can get me there, that's good enough. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!

I'd also like it to have a decent bar/nightlife scene, although it doesn't have to have the hippest clubs in all SF or anything like that. Just places where I can go after hours... and also, restaurants that are open after hours. I'm not going to have a car, so I'd like to be able to walk to where I need to...though it doesn't seem like that's a problem in most of SF.
