Not a bad deal if you then buy a $2000 van, park it there, and live in it...

but yeah, SF real estate prices and rents are beyond absurd. And as long as there are hordes of eager speculators with cash in hand wanting a piece of the action, that won't change.

It may be able to buy start up capital to start a grow house ("legal" of course, e.g., for medical marijuana clubs). Then from the profits, buy a house.

Seems reasonable to me, I have seen high-rise condos for sale in Seattle, a less expensive area, where a space in the garage is an additional $40-50k so I would expect SF to be higher.
