Hehehe.

Roommates by Apartment List

The Mission:
Stuff the say: is this coffee fair trade.

LOL.

Notice the supreme lack of diversity in the roommate pics.

The lack of diversity in the pics is realistic. SF is very segregated and the neighborhoods where minorities live like sunset, richmond, excelsior, BVHP are excluded from the list.

I find the noe valley roommate interesting. Pushing strollers with kids looks like a mom (the listed occupation doesn't seem like a nanny to me). Do people (with or without kids) actually room with others who have kids? Is this a common situation?

I (perhaps naively) thought that those with kids usually find a place for themselves or with their significant others.

It's a joke, dude. Don't read too much into it.

There are some quality laughs in there - "a dude she met on Tinder", "former engineer at Zynga (too soon?)"

It looks like this was written as a "denizens of SF" list and re-purposed as a "roommates of SF" by this site. So, yes, Noe is one of the main places where normal people have kids in the City and no, they don't typically have roommates.

Though it is pretty rare, I have actually seen this in one or two cases. They weren't in Noe Valley though.

It's a joke, dude, but a well-crafted one, and my daughter lived with a married couple with kids for a while, and with a single mom for a while. That's what happens in very high priced cities.
