I don't know Sacramento well enough to compare, so I wasn't actually recommending south Sac - in fact, I said quite clearly they'd have to ask somebody else. But regardless of whether Sacramento is any better, Stockton just wasn't my cup of tea. Sorry!

That kind of drive from work to home will wreck any type of social life you are hoping to get out of being in SF. I think SAC has a large gay population and with the current housing problems your buck will go along way. SF is however a total lifestyle and if you can find a job there you will have some fun.

I don't know Sacramento well enough to compare, so I wasn't actually recommending south Sac - in fact, I said quite clearly they'd have to ask somebody else. But regardless of whether Sacramento is any better, Stockton just wasn't my cup of tea. Sorry!
