The standard job search engines like Monster, CareerBuilder, etc..are not that great for planning jobs imo.

This is a decent one:
Jobs | Planetizen: The Urban Planning, Design, and Development Network

There are others like APTA too. You need to search planning specific sites over Monster or CB imo.

Join the local for the areas you are targeting. They all have mailing lists etc that post jobs.

Do you have savings? For example, CalPIRG is always hiring, but doesn't pay a whole lot. But would be decent for networking. Each state has a similar group.
