Ive been to Sochi and its actually a mild weather city if I recall correctly.

Palm Trees grow in Sochi. I don't understand why they've picked relatively mild-weathered cities for the Winter Olympics the past two times. It barely snows in Vancouver and it's not even that cold. Might as well hold them in LA next time because you have some mountains close by where it snows. Or maybe Sacramento lol.

There used to be a joke in Soviet Union:
A French tourist came to USSR and, while walking down the street, fell into uncovered manhole.
When she got rescued, she asked: "Why didn't you put red flags around this hazard?"
"Haven't you seen red flags when you crossed the border?" was the reply.

You would think that after reportedly spending 50 billion dollars, they wouldnt be so behind schedule just a few days from the start of the games.
