Kidnapping in Oakland Safeway
Red 2001 Infiniti QX3 with California license plate No. 6JFM648

I received an alert on my iPhone, I literally jumped it was so loud! I thought it was an alarm going off in my building or thought we were being bombed by North Korea lol.

Please keep your eyes open for this mother ^%^&^er!

This happened in the hills near Montclair, a very beautiful place and one of the nicest parts of Oakland. Hope the kidnap victims turn up safe. Yikes.

Everyone in my office was jumping out of their skin in sequence as their iPhones went mad over this alert.

An earlier alert about it being an SUV has been changed to a sedan (not sure what a QX3 is).

No one has filed a missing persons report for the alleged kidnap victims. If the police have the license plate number than they know the address of the registration. The fact that they havent released more info means they arent 100% sure this is an actual abduction.

My city is ratchet, I wouldnt put it past the realm of probability that they are all in it together.

But we shall see.

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday after witnesses reported seeing a knife-wielding shoplifter jump into an SUV outside a Safeway store in Oakland, before the vehicle drove off with an elderly man and a 13-year-old girl inside, police said.

Pretty much as I suspected.

Actually, this isnt really that close to Montclair. It's actually in the Crestmont neighborhood and even at that, is much more oriented towards Redwood Heights.

And while these are very nice neighborhoods, they arent really considered amond the most swank overall.

So, um, there's no such thing as a QX3 ... I think they meant a QX4 but now apparently, there wasn't even an abduction nor a child involved: Oakland Amber Alert off - no abduction occurred - SFGate
