There is a profile up on Jeffery's Toys, one of the last indie toy stores around:
Jeffrey's Toys gets 2nd chance in real estate game - for now - SFGate

The comments are hilarious....and very San Francisco, suggesting that the store should close for a Walgreens, CVS or Starbucks (sarcastically).

I've been shopping regularly there since they were at their previous location, on the corner of Market and 3rd. I heard from the owner a few months ago that they were looking for new space and preferred to move rather than close.

I'd vote for an obscure very expensive hipster coffee shop.
But that is a nice toy store. Generally one of not many things I like about SF is these small nice toy stores, which sell unique interesting toys.

Many years ago I used to line up there for the latest beanie babies. They aren't worth much now lol.

Serving $6 toast.

(Price of toast just went up by 50% more in the last day now that Google is opening an office in the Mission.)
