I find it slightly annoying. What's even more annoying is the hypocrisy of those who reek of pot smoke 24/7 -- never mind those around them who might be allergic, which actually does happen; I know two such people -- but who shriek like banshees whenever someone lights up a tobacco cigarette within a quarter-mile of them.

A related, but somewhat less annoying annoyance is the prevalent attitude that people who smoke pot are somehow better than people who don't. Which -- since pot is "medicine" -- is a bit like proclaiming pride in one's habitual use of ibuprofen or Ambien.

I find it all quite tiresome. I hope it'll be legal very soon, so the potheads can just get over themselves and find something else to feel special about.

I prefer the smell of brownies. I might add that the two go really well together too.

LOL---I know exactly what you're saying. Here in Washington State, where RMJ got legalized, it's even more ridiculous: you can open a Hookah Lounge for pot smokers but can't smoke tobacco indoors anywhere---even in a private club or a tobacco shop! Washington has this weird combination of the most lax marijuana laws and the strictest tobacco laws.

It doesn't faze me. It's better than cigarettes. BTW, it's not like pot smoke is wafting through San Francisco. You may occasionally catch a neighbor or roommate smoking up or in a club or park. But the other 99.99% it's smoke free.

It's a lot better than the other smells you will commonly find in San Francisco.

Ditto, but I partly blame those kinds of smells on the city government for not having public bathrooms where they should.

It's not just homeless leaving those odors either. I've seen people who don't look homeless go in public as well, usually people who act like they were drinking at a club or bar, and more often people who apparently expect to find open bathrooms at gas stations and other establishments.

The pee smell in MUNI buses is often in the back stairwell because bus drivers sometimes use it as a bathroom at the end of their lines.

The predominately dog walking neighborhoods & parks smell whether the dog owners pick up or not. Pee can't be picked up, and despite the $310 fine for not picking up deuces, some dogs walkers still don't pick up. It's why many people in my district and the next have the no dog poo signs up.

Some people also wear such a strong amount of perfume, cologne or didn't rinse the detergent out of their laundry that I can't breathe and have to get away from them.

The vehicle exhaust on heavy traffic streets is sometimes just as bad at suffocating me.

I haven't smoked any pot at all since the 90s, but the odor of pot is much more tolerable to me than those other more common daily odors.
