Let me be brutally honest with anybody who happens to read this post.

You are a serf. End of story. I know that sounds strange, cruel, pessimistic, but it's the truth.

You're only function as a working or middle class American is to toil your entire life to pay for the inflated cost of everything. You are supporting the banker bonuses, the welfare bums, and endless wasteful military screw up wars, and in the end your jobs will be offshored to China and India anyway, and your country will be taken over by Mexicans and South Americans.

Everybody here knows I am right. My point is not to be mean, but just to get you people to understand this so you can at least change something, anything, and take things into your own hands a little bit. Maybe cancel your cable or satellite subscription. Stop keeping up with the bankrupt Joneses and wasting your money on useless activities. Write a letter to your landlord or congressperson.

Individually we won't make a difference, but if we get enough people to think differently, we can.

Nope he's completely right. You're blinding yourself if you think the world is the same for you and the same for someone who is even just a multi-millionaire. Just ask innocent little Ethan Couch.

Vinod Khosla can say whatever he wants, he knows the truth. The guy just closed off a beach for crying out loud. That's how it has been for millennium. The bankers, the land owners, the politicians all rely on you staying exactly where you are, right in the middle, not completely destitute, but not encroaching on their space either. They've learned not to let everyone get "too poor" otherwise they have to deal with a highly motivated mob that could possibly overthrow them. So that's why they invented "entitlement programs". Why do you think Europe has such generous entitlement programs for complete bums? They had thousands of years of experience dealing with revolts from the peasants, and they've finally come up with a system to keep them in check, and out of the way. Yup, just keep people like you satisfied enough so that you stay put, drive to work, behave 9-5, and don't rock the boat.

Heck you don't even have to be a bum to get their help, just fall behind on a house payment 3 times, they'll fall over to help you out and keep you paying a huge over inflated mortgage. Extend your mortgage to 40-50-60 years? The funny thing is you people think they are trying to help. haha.

You advised him to go to bed, perhaps it's you who should finally wake up.

Norway? Where I lived for 6 months in college and had free health care, a housing subsidy, looked upon some of the best natural landscapes in the world, and regularly chatted with 6'0 tall natural blonde Scandinavia women?
