What I noticed is costal social is dramatically different than the costal Bay Area the inland areas are more like Social. Mount Diablo more in common with the mountains of social than Mount Tam.

Berkeley = Pasadena!

You gotta be kidding. One is a counterculture capital of America. The other is an enclave for old-money California bluebloods.

Yes, maybe Palo Alto would be a better comparison to Pasadena.

Pasadena is actually quite diverse, from a socioeconomic perspective. Yes, there is old-money, bluebloods in certain neighborhoods (Chapman Woods and the Oak Knoll Area, to name two), but a lot of Pasadena is simply middle class.

Broadway in Downtown LA is definitely nicer than the Tenderloin imo. Skid Row in DTLA is worse than the Tenderloin though.

And Santa Barbara would probably be more Monterey or Carmel than Santa Cruz imo.

I feel like Vacaville is a little too nice to be like Lancaster/Palmdale which I thought had gang issues. Maybe more like Temecula or Murrieta?

Agree about Santa Barbara and Carmel. Maybe Antioch would be closer to Lancaster. The Tenderloin has a lot more historic architecture than LA's Skid Row. The Architecture is similar to Broadway. Broadway is still fairly run down but it's starting to gentrify.
