Does your education actually give you an advantage in how you perform your job or did it just give you a foot in the door because you were able to put it on your resume?

Depends on your career. If you are working in tech, you better have learned your stuff in school. If you are working in management, then ehhh, you'll learn most of the stuff on the job.

Thanks for the reply. I was asking ccm specifically because he said that he was in technological sales. So I was wondering how much his education actually helped him on the job.

Nope. Nobody welcome but me and the dog. He asked how do "I" afford it. Piece of cake.

But I chuckle at the notion of others trying it. Few could learn to love it - let alone survive at my lifestyle. If you're not already a fanatic boater, chances are overwhelming you won't take to it. But I always enjoy watching landlubbers try
