It sucks. I know a lot of people think it is a garbage store, but I tried to buy things from there, because they are all over San Francisco. There are 3 off top of my head in the Richmond and one downtown. I am especially concerned about the Richmond ones, because that might mean 3 new empty store fronts. We will see what they will be replaced with. I hope their employees are able to find new employment quickly.

There's one in the Castro too - which of course is grade A prime real estate, so I'd be stunned if that one stayed open.

Ugh I hate Sprint. Although I rarely go to RadioShack except for batteries.

Used to work at RadioShack just before I started college back in the day. A customer walked in after speaking with the manager and turned to me and reminded me to finish school so I didn't have to work here long.

I've never actually seen a more unprofessional business than RadioShack. The workers seem not to care much for their jobs, they dress poorly, and seem to have an antiquated set of products to choose from.

I haven't stepped foot inside one for a decade.

it is sad. In the old days RS actually sold decent stuff-I have an old Realistic amp which we use in our lab-it still cranks and gives good sound. Now it is all apple stores etc-

They were good for electronic components. Guess we'll have to go online for that now. Sad, I remember the days when I used to tag along with my dad there.

There was also one in the Mission. I did stuff for Google out of that store sometimes. End of an era.

Years ago, I shopped there for electronic components and hard to find batteries. This was in the 80's-90's. Seems that they lost touch of the market and started losing market share.

These days, I just to go Fry's, which has lousy service, but you can almost buy anything electronics related there.

The end is near for RS...

Boy, that's bad news for the Oakland protesters. Seems every march they have they smash a Radio Shack windows and loot their store.
