Hi all !

I was googling things to do in SF with my 2.5 yo daughter, when I came across the stunning Marshall Beach (I'm a photographer as well so this appealed to me as a photo op) One question tho.. how nude of a beach is it? lol.. the reviews on Yelp say stay away if you don't want to see naked people. For me personally I don't care, but I honestly don't need my 2 yo seeing that. Also any other suggestions of nice trails or things to do here would be helpful ! We have already been to a few places.. Embarcadero, Fort Point, cable cars, Hyde pier etc. How easy is it to get to South Vista Point to walk across the GGB? Thanks !!!

Your 2-yr-old won't remember anything long-term, anyway. It might not even register on her brain that there's anything unusual. Anyway, it's winter, not likely there will be nude bathers.

Very, at least when the weather's nice. And that particular section of the beach attracts a lot of gay men, just FYI in case you should happen to notice a lack of women.

If you want a really nice view of the GGB, consider driving over it and heading up the Marin Headlands.

I would recommend Baker Beach instead because it's much easier to access, they have free public parking lots right by the beach, plus lots of fully clothed people go there too but tend to stay on the west end on the left, the far right or east end is the nudist side

Marshall Beach has a steep trail with lots of steps, much harder to get to by trail and too much walking for a two year old, but it's more secluded since it's harder to get to.

it's a workout just getting down to Marshall Beach.
