My husband and I are looking at a home purchase in the shadowood neighborhood of Pleasant Hill, CA.

Pleasant Hill is a great, desirable area with an awesome downtown. As far as I know, It's VERY safe. Also, it's right next to Walnut Creek, which, outside San Francisco, is probably the 2nd most desirable area as far as shopping and dining.
