Only in San Francisco would a tradition like this be outlawed.

When I first read this my immediate thought was, "How UnAmerican, But then I remembered it was about San Francisco.

I'm pretty sure this is already outlawed in the entire minor league system, just not at the major league level yet.

It's unamerican. I don't even dip but I do when I play baseball

Screw the stupid smoking laws, that these can even be enforced while there are rapes, murders, illegals everywhere shows how broken the system is.

Cigs and tobacco aren't illegal, either ban them or don't but this whole quasi prohibition thing where it's legal but banned everywhere is kind of ridiculous

You are correct. Minor League Baseball has banned the on-field use of chewing tobacco for 22 years now, having banned it in 1993. The NCAA also bans it and has since 1994. I recall reading about two former players who turned entrepreneurs and introduced an alternative for players who haven't bought into sunflower seeds or bubble gum as an alternative - Grinds, which looks like chewing tobacco but is, in fact, coffee.

Only for cows. Theirs add to global warming by releasing methane. There must be very high standards for enforcers, don't you think?
