Such an educated post.

lol, what's funny about the things he listed are actually things I wish SF had more of...

"The last time I sweated was my visit to DC a couple years ago."

I wish SF had more days where I could sweat outside instead of being cold almost 90% of the year.

"Humid swamp filled with yuppies."

I wish SF had more yuppies, so every nook and cranny wouldn't be full of homeless, garbage, litter etc.

It felt like you had to dress up just to leave your house.

I wish SF would have more people who actually dress up when they go out. It's nice to wear some sharp looking clothes and not feel out of place. It's nice to see girls in heels and dress once in awhile too.

Go where you get the best job offer for starters. You need a job first. $90K in DC is a LOT more than $75K in SF. I would take the $90K in DC. You've got a swimmable ocean a two hours east. Small, but beautiful mountains 90 minutes west. Flat farm land, rolling hills, rivers, free museums, lots of performing arts venues, sports teams, more affordable housing all in DC. You've got similar here (minus the free museums, and affordable housing) and the hills along the coast are amazing. Ditto the redwood forests.

I'd rather not smell rank just walking around town. Sorry, not a fan of sweating. I happen to very much enjoy this weather, along with a few others. To each his own, really. I grew up in Houston, and don't miss that at all.

I half agree with the part about the yuppies, the second part really. But why does it have to be all or nothing?

And the last sentence. Definitely miss feminine women. So DC definitely wins at that part hands down.
