Just a friendly reminder to my fellow Bay Area-ites (and all Californians) to VOTE TODAY!! I already sent in my absentee ballot, so I'm good to go... it'll be fascinating to see how this turns out, since it's been such a tight race on both sides!

It's exciting this year....

We did absentee, too -- and since I'm an American Independent (and I don't remember signing up as one! and I've got to change because I REALLY don't believe in what they do! ) I got to vote for Mad Max Reiske.

Originally both hubby and I signed up as "Meadow" party.... old Bloom County fans may remember that....

Voting is a waste of time, there is a lot of literature( i know i studied this in college) which notes the average american is so out of touch with reality, as are the elites who run the system that there really is no point to voting. Especially in your jerrymanderd district. i remind you what would happen if no one voted and stayed home...the elites in congress would vote and they would vote according to their political polarity.Good day.

Wow, aren't you just a ray of sunshine! Geez... all I was doing was reminding people to vote, if they so desire. If you don't wanna, fine, but then you lose your right to complain about the winners. And now that the polls are closing, I will also close this thread. Kudos to everyone who did choose to vote, and I look forward to seeing how this whole thing plays out.
