I wouldn't be surprised. I got my dad two tickets for X-mas and wanted to get them to that game but I couldn't find anything decent in the lower bowl for $500. Got him tix to the Mavericks game instead which will probably be a better matchup after last night's Duncan-less blowout anyways.

Warriors tickets are ridiculously expensive now, the free tix I get are upper bowl now and they used to be lower.

Those are celebs going to see the game, not to be seen or be a part of a scene. Drake is a whack Canadian pop star who is lame and Jay Z steals other rappers lyrics.

Give me Jack Nicholson any day of the week

Appropriate name, given that they'll chase fans away by being inaccesible by BART, Caltrain or automobile.

I do worry about the transit access at the new proposed arena site. The site on the Embarcadero had much better access (granted automobile access would have sucked - but at least there would have been BART, MUNI, and Caltrain access close at that site).

Those Muni Metro platforms are so small for the type of crowds that arena will produce. The Central Subway should help with a faster, more direct connection to BART at least but it will probably screw crowds looking to transfer from Caltrain.

Muni competes with Embarcadero cars, too. I wonder what a trip from the Richmond or Sunset times out at.

Oh well, it's not like any of us plebes will be able to afford tickets anyway. Unless the Warriors become bottom dwellers again, which is looking pretty unlikely for the next several seasons.
