Ignorance is definitely repudiated, and according to you, articles authored by black researchers aren't credible. Please take an eternal seat.

Let me explain how the internet works. If you stay long enough, someone might hurt your feelings.

Show me where I said African American researchers are not credible. I said they are required around here. There's a difference.

Zitsky, throughout this thread I, and several others, have provided factual history, science, social science, anthropological research to support what constitutes the differences you deny. You, and several others, have provided nothing but opinion. Now you suggest that your baseless comment should be some sort of oracle.

Lmfao

Btw, do you also think, as Wildcattofu claimed, that African slaves willingly signed themselves into permanently indentured service with no indenture expiration clause? Please answer the question.

The title of this thread is: Mark Zuckerberg reprimands employees for defacing 'Black Lives Matters' on wall at Menlo Park FB HQ

A policeman killing a teenager seems relevant to me. Just my opinion.

EDIT: If you want to go back to talking about slavery, then you might find this article interesting, as it claims to debunk common misconceptions about slavery, especially how severe it was or was not for white indentured servants.

Zitsky - the death of this teenager in your linked article may yet become a BLM issue but the article doesn't identify any protests at this time. It certainly has nothing to do with Zuckerberg's actions at Facebook. So, tragic as it is, there's not really much specific connection to the discussion you've been having here.

As for black slavery, it was a root with various specificities that have intertwined with ongoing prejudices not perpetuated with other ethnicities. Today's discrimination is not about slavery. It is a result of the perpetuation of myths and exclusions with origins in those times but which have taken on a truly misshapen life of their own since and now. You, and others here, have clearly demonstrated a serious lack of knowledge of the complex subject and the research, both scientific and historical, that supports the acknowledgement of uniquely pernicious discrimination of blacks by modern social science.

Since you lack knowledge and only have common speculative opinion to offer, why do you persist? If the topic truly fascinates you, go learn from scholarly sources rather than spread mythology.

Why do I "persist"? Because I think I might learn something.

Great reason and answer, Zitsky. However, wonder if you realize how your comments to WildcatTofu appear to contradict your stated intentions?

In any case, if your interest is to learn about the pernicious nature of racial discrimination you are in luck. There is more scholarly information available to a seeker on this subject than one could ever exhaust. Go for it.

Thanks for your comments. It's important to have a sense of humor when on the internet. You cannot take anything at face value.
