Sutro baths ruins & the cliff house, on the far west side of San Francisco, a nice place to walk around & you can get some great ocean views & even of the GG bridge from the car parks on the Northern side. If you don't have a car, the bus can take you there. If you have a car, continue down the Great Highway & go south, pass though Pacifica & go to Half Moon Bay, the Harbor there (Princeton) is beautiful.

Make sure you check the weather before you come. It rains a lot this week..

Couple more places outside of SF if you have time:
Muir Woods, Point Reyes
Do you like sushi and music? - famous Yoshi's Japanese restaurant: Home | Yoshi's

Hi All,

Apologies for the late reply, but I did in fact visit San Francisco last weekend during the storm. I have to say I was overall impressed with the city and landscape. To be frank, I prefer SF over San Diego since it reminded me a little of a Boston/New York feeling hence I'm a SoCal transplant from New England. I will definitely be back visiting for sure only during warm and sunny weather conditions

According to an article I've read before, in San Francisco housing in the Bay Area is just more expensive than average. So many residents in the SF moving to another city.

There are 2 article about San Francisco, you should read these:

Bay Area Housing
Bay Area Experience

The OP was visiting SF, not moving to SF.
