Like I said, we put in 30 miles. Some of the places we chose to visit could most quickly be reach by walking through blighted areas. And my observation and reason for my comment is that there are quite a few blighted areas in the city.

Wasn’t commenting on pursuing answers for the city, now was I? I was challenging the poster who was aghast, as to why s/he hiked through the blight. Simple.

As for “answers”, I already contributed to that issue in the previous post where I observed public toilets would eliminate (heh) nearly the whole problem.
