Yeah - let’s see the listing per Ruth’s request. It should be on record since it closed.

I have relatives in Tuscon and my wife actually prefers the AZ weather. We're both retired so we don't need to get on the freeways during rush hour.

I will miss Golden Gate park and the SF weather.

Smart move.

Wish I’d been able to nudge DH off the dime in 2011. Oh well, I tried. We ended up in Scottsdale anyway.

Concerts in Stern Grove! And dare I mention: the beach!! You'll miss the ocean, I'm just warning you. I'm sure you'll be back to visit, though.

Yes, I will return. I grew up in SF and went to college at SF State. The Sunset and Richmond are filled with memories of my youth.

The beach? No. I won't miss it. Too cold and the undertow too strong.

Read the title of his thread, "Sold the SF House, goodbye and thanks for the memories"

Specifically mentions SF

EDIT... WHEN DID THIS GET 4 PAGES!? lol

I'm telling you, you'll miss the ocean! The crashing surf, the fresh sea air, the wheeling gulls, the negative ions! The people playing frisbee with their dogs, family picnics, the atmosphere in general! Splashing around at the water's edge while strolling along. (I didn't say anything about swimming.).

Get back to us in a couple of years, and tell me if you miss the beach or not. You'll see what I mean, after 2 or 3 years there.

A lot of people refer to the Bay Area as ‘SF’ for the sake of a title thread, that’s nothing new (especially when the original post said ‘in Richmond’). It’s a no-brainer the lack of distinction would cause mis-interpretation (and is why he corrected his OP).

The OP never mentioned SF...

me -yes it's in the title of the thread...

Well who cares, SF is the entire bay area, forget what I said about mentioning SF making a difference

Yes, the sound of the crashing waves is nice and so is walking along the surf.
