I ordered contacts and glasses (sight unseen!) in the past couple of weeks and both took just a little longer than typical, so as long as you have a current prescription, you should be okay for that. And guessing if it's a recently expired prescription, your eye doctor will probably renew for you without an exam so you can get it filled.

Definitely wishing I had gotten the haircut in, though...

Wipe it all down BEFORE you drop your car off. Technicians and service writers and other automotive industry employees don’t want to get sick.

Yes......ita. We can still get groceries & items we need around here......all this stocking up is what causes the hysteria IMO & people that hoard tho. MV Market...both Whole Foods (tho I avoid the one by 101) & the Safeway are all open. I try to go early in the morning & I see far less people...........I'm happy to be out of Sf tho for now.

As well as AFTER, since there may be multiple people touching my car. If they want, they can wash my car before they work on it rather than after. Shoot, they should do it before and after if you ask me. Only makes sense.

You, and your passengers, are as responsible for making automotive professionals sick, as they are for infecting you. They also have families and lives. Wash and sanitize your car YOURSELF before taking it for repair.

Well, until some store hours for seniors are offered later in the day, we won't be able to take advantage of them.

I have never been an early riser naturally, only got up early for part of my career. I have reverted back to my preferred Night Owl pattern, and since hubby sleeps with me and is retired, it's become his pattern as well.

No new food for us for awhile, and I've already lost one pound since the order to shelter-in-place was ordered.

Stores really ought to do a deep cleaning twice a day, opening their first afternoon hour for seniors who are not early birds, instead of all stores offering the same senior hours in the extremely early a.m.

I know that some of the stores here already do at least twice a day of deep cleaning......& they wipe down all screens & check out lanes every hour. Part of the reason for early morning senior hrs is that more stuff is available then.......trucks have come in overnight. My fiance's father has gone at that time & he has been able to find stuff that I can't......like Lysol cleaner & toilet paper.
edit: you should be taking advantage of it IMO........I've barely been able to find chicken or pasta.

No. I'm set and I thought I prepped my parents too but 5 days into the shut down I got a call about how they need this or that from the grocery store, and batteries, and bulbs for the bathroom fixture that burned out, etc. They don't drive or leave the house but fortunately I was able to find everything, and then some, and get it delivered because I don't want to leave the house either!

I cannot find Lysol anywhere. Hoarding is not nice.

I got one 3/13, a few days before the stay-at-home order was issued. So glad I did. This next month is going to suck though.

Only thing I wish I would have gotten was Lysol, I still have a can leftover though.
