The city should use eminent domain to bulldoze over Hunter's point and build a new vertical neighborhood. The area is run-down and needs dramatic improvement.

Considering what happened in the Fillmore in years past, this idea is D.O.A.

Who would pay the dramatic new rents for the people living there now? Where would they live while their homes are being bulldozed?

Another creative idea bites the dust.

Real Estate would topple, as would rents and the economy

About the Hunters Point thing.
There are plans In the works to build nice housing/retail all the way down from the prosperous 3rd street areas down to the Candlestick area.

Yes there will be hiccups but progress will go that way.
I won’t be a part of it or even probably see it because I will be retired shortly but my son will be a part of it before he retires in 15 or so years if he decides to stay here.

Treasure Island has a massive project in the planning.
We should see improvement there before the South 3rd Street thing is completed.
They have already started working on Island access and egress.
Treasure Island will be changing.
