Hey, you folks need to have a north bay catagory as very different demographic from San Francisco and Oakland. Also, lot of territory up north of here too. Thanks!

The population of North Bay is not large enough to have its own forum, it would receive very low posting volume. Also don't agree that "different demographics" is a basis for having a separate forum.

Alameda 1,494,876
Contra Costa 1,037,817
Marin 250,666
Napa 135,377
San Francisco 870,887
San Mateo 711,622
Santa Clara 1,762,754
Solano 411,620
Sonoma 478,551

Marin....Napa....Solano & Sonoma are North Bay.....so that's over a million people. How much population does there have to be for its own forum Steve?

I live in both now BUT....it would be kinda nice to see a separate forum for it.......they both have very different lifestyles & issues IMO & the Sf Oakland forum is always about homelessness or tech.

Doesn't seem like an issue to me. I work in Marin and live in Contra Costa. Just because I see posts from San Mateo County doesn't mean we need to split it off. There are very few posts about the North Bay, so it isn't difficult to find them. Anyway, many of the posts one sees about Marin are in the context of SF and the East Bay.
