I remember visiting SF about 10 years ago and staying in my friends' "bargain" closet apartment in the Haight. Rep Pelosi (your Rep) just introduced yet another House stimulus bill with the same $75k/yr income limit to receive the second $1,200 stimulus plus $1,200/kid (which were rare in the City). WTH!!! How many in the SF area actually receive the Stimulus? I know that San Franciscans that I knew were not afraid of marching when they felt injustice. Do San Franciscans ever complain about her?

What is your point? The payments aren't based on income. They're supposed to be SPENT.

I shudder to think how much all this "free money" is going to cost us down the road...

The thing is, a functional government (with a functional, sane, budget and taxation policy) would be prepared to handle a national emergency like this. It would also be willing and able to fully-fund a CDC, and its infectious disease research, including collaboration with its colleagues abroad.

'Nuff said.

As long as Pelosi and Schumer keep stuffing the pork for their illegals into each and every bill they want passed, they can stuff said bill where the sun don't shine. That's pretty much what the Senate will recommend and duly so.
