A test? Do you mean--Covid? Here's a website with a number of sections to answer questions. It says, "non-essential travel is not recommended", at a link on the right-hand side menu. The County is trying to keep its numbers under control, and is having a hard time.

You need to register for a test online after choosing a location. You'll get your results in 4-5 days, instructions say. AFAIK, there is no quick in-out, if you mean--having results run hand as you leave. This is America; it's not an advanced country like Mongolia, Taiwan, or Korea, which provide same-day test results.

Here's a location in the Bay Area that provides same-day test results. It's in Milpitas, at a lab that developed their own test.

Here's the latest news on Covid in Humboldt County, from the North Coast Journal. Until recently, it was in the highest-ranked status, namely "widespread". (Criteria are explained in the article.) But that was recently relaxed, though local health care authorities feel that was unwarranted. There's been a big surge in cases after Thanksgiving, and Christmas, due to family gatherings.
