South Hills is the only part that is geographically there but not often referred to as East DC. I only answered in terms of what I thought the other poster was referring to. But thank you for pointing out that I had left out most of ESDC lol.
LOL, yeah before joining the military I lived right on John Daly & Mission.... I loved it...

Ha I was at Hanover and Evergreen, and I liked it a lot too. Parking was nightmarish (usually had to find a spot on the sidewalk since the street was all taken up), and it could get a little rowdy sometimes back then, but I really didn't want to leave when I had to. It was a pretty cool neighborhood.

Default Misconceptions can serve a good purpose

Depending on the misconceptions of outsiders, they can be a blessing in disguise as they can either help to reduce or increase the population of that city. If you don't want any more people moving to your city then reinforce the negative misconceptions any opportunity you get.

I'm surprised at those moving to Las Vegas thinking this is such a liberal city, falsely claiming to be "Sin City" and think we're so liberal here. Sure, we might approve something that appears to be liberal, but believe me, it will only be approved if it will fatten the conservative people's wallets in this town.

An absolutely ignorant blanket statement. Either you've ONLY spent time in the Castro when in SF, or you've decided to prejudge every male you see as being gay until proven otherwise. That's like saying a few people in SF are not homeless, but most are. Or a few people in San Jose are not Vietnamese, but most are.

Based on reading this one post of yours, I'd say that probably a few of your posts are not idiotic, but most of them are.

Sounds like you just couldn't get a date. Of course it must be someone else's fault, eh?
