Beverly Hills hasn't been battling Oakland for the 100+ murders club the past couple of years like Vallejo has. Your point makes no sense.

You have no idea what you're talking about...

Vallejo had 6 murders in 2003 and something like 12 in 2009. It has a population of 100,000.

Just admit you're a troll and I'll let you post without heckling you (translation: I'll ignore you).

You only come to that conclusion because you never learned how to do simple arithmetic in school.

Oakland Population 2007: 404,155
Vallejo Population 2007: 118,020
Vallejo Homicides 2007: 15

Proportionally, if you scaled Vallejo's Population to match Oakland's, you have a real murder rate of 50-60 homicides per year. So yeah, it's not quite hitting 100 yet, but with a bankrupt city, and scaled back Police funding, it will probably start matching Oakland in the next couple of years.

Also, Vallejo is prone to regular "Gang Sweeps" by law enforcement:

... the idiocy in your post is boundless. Last time I checked, murder rates were by MURDERS PER 100,000. Meaning, that Vallejo has LESS THAN 15 MURDERS PER 100,000. If you want to do it by 400,000 then most places would have rates upwards of 50/400,000...

Not to mention that your beloved Berkeley has about the same number of people and the same number of murders... that's right. You proudly lived in a city that had the same "god awful" murder rate as Vallejo. Deal with it.

I've been trying to avoid telling you this for a while, but you've left me no choice...

You're an idiot.

Berkeley is sandwiched in an urban center, while Vallejo is mostly burbs. Big difference. You simply don't know the difference between urban and suburban cities and their characteristics.

ROFL... you're officially the funniest person on C-D.

Well no ****... I don't even get why you tried to make this point. Urban cities tend to have the crime more spread out across the whole city as opposed to being concentrated in one area... in other words, you're more likely to be attacked in any random place in Berkeley than you are to be attacked in any random place in Vallejo. The same applies to San Francisco. In Vallejo your chances of being attacked only go up if you're in certain neighborhoods (ie The Crest, Millerville & Beverly Hills) and even then... the crime rate is FAR lower than SF. SF is by far one of the most violent cities in the bay... why aren't you crying us a river about SF? Oh yeah, because there's not as many black people there.

Black people have nothing to do with my point, unless you're making the connection that black people commit all the crimes.

I thought this thread was about Vallejo. It says "I am thinking of buying in Vallejo. Welcome any feedback."

Why would I bring up San Francisco in this thread?

Hmm... seems to me that black people had a whole lot to do with your point.

And that other comment...

"Basically anything West I80 is no safer than Fallujah, Iraq."

Why bring up Fallujah in this thread?

This is seriously too easy...

Are you making the point that all black people are gang members?
