looking for any info on solar companies (ideally located outside of SF, wine country perhaps?) in the region. are there jobs openings in this field in the area? thanks for the help!

Most of these companies are small start-ups looking for VC money. What kind of job are you looking for? You need to be more specific than just wanting to work "in solar."

I think you've found the right area to look - every time I turn on the radio I hear a news story about a new solar company opening, new solar-friendly legislation, or a commercial for solar panels. I don't have specifics, but I think sending resumes out to companies you find through a google search would be productive.

they are building a HUGE complex in fremont, from the freeway it looks like its the size of like 15 costcos.. maybe larger.
