Is there any way that I can find a spot in Marin County where I can rent a spot to stay in my travel trailer, either on someone's land or in their back yard, or any other ideas? I lost my home in a midwestern flood last year and I'm living in the RV. My job is in Marin, so I'd like to find a spot here to rent. (RV Parks in Marin are ridiculously high priced!) It is a nice looking, newer 30 foot model. Thanks for any suggestions!

Are you in Marin now? Have you looked into Lawson's Landing? Lawson's Landing

That might work temporarily until you can find a less expensive set up...

The first towns that comes to mind as more open minded to this type of situation would be Fairfax or Pt. Reyes Station, or further NorthWest in unicorporated Marin.

Thanks for the Lawson's Landing info. I wasn't aware of it, and will have to check it out, along with your other suggestions. And yes, I'm in Marin now - Paying $730.00 for basically a parking spot in an RV Park.
