Hello all,

I am planning a move to SF this coming summer. I intend to live in the city and commute south for work. I have been told by several who do this commute that the 280 is my best option.

Can someone give me some insight as to which neighborhoods would be best positioned for easy access to the 280? Taking into consideration that I am a young guy (late 20s) and if possible I'd still like to live in a vibrant area that will also best position me to minimize my commute time in the mornings...

thanks in advance for your info. I'm looking forward to getting to know the city and the bay area...

JH

280 cuts a diagonal across the city, so if you have access to 101, you also have access to 280. You could also live in the Sunset district on the west side of town and take 19th Avenue (or Sunset Blvd., which I usually preferred). But that's one of the sleepier parts of town.
