Do you guys know anything about the following neighborhoods?
Hillegass Ave/Parker Street/Benvenue Ave - Near Willard Park, and in between Telegraph and College Avenue?

Is this safe walking around for dogs, families, students etc.....

Definitely Yes. That's a nice area. Sometimes that corridor can have very heavy traffic around Alta Bates Hospital but your far enough away where it wont bother you.

Good neighborhood. FYI - south of campus, not north.

For extended dog walking, say on the weekends, head for the hills. Tilden Park will be close. Dogs can swim in Lake Anza except at the people beach section.

Whats typical costs for utilities on a 1 Bedroom apartment in Berkeley? Assuming we we use these in moderation:
Water?
Garbage?
Electricity?
Gas?
