Hello,

I'm looking for information on what type of flowers are in bloom in San Fran in the first two weeks of March. Are cherry trees in blossom yet during that time? What about spring bulbs?

Thanks so much,
starfish422

I think you're too late for cherry blossoms and spring bulbs.

But in Golden Gate Park, you can visit:

San Francisco Botanical Garden or Welcome to the Conservatory of Flowers

Also in the park is the Japanese Tea Garden Japanese Tea Garden - San Francisco's Golden Gate Park Photo Review Feature which has cherry trees, azaleas and bonsai trees.

Thank you for responding. I'm actually looking for information specifically about the first two weeks of March - it's not related to a visit; it relates to a work of fiction. Thanks.

March you'll start to get California Poppies. Camelias for sure. Maybe some early Rhodedendrons. Heck, there is something blooming year round.

Thank you for your help. I decided to go with camellias. I'm very grateful for the suggestions.
