We may be going to Redwood City in a few weeks for a Basketball Tournament.
Can anyone tell us what would be the best area to get a hotel in ?

Lots of motels/hotels along El Camino Real (Hwy 82) such as Holiday Inn Express, Quality Inn, Days Inn, etc. There are many restaurants/fast food places along El Camino.

There's the Four Seasons in East Palo Alto.. and there are some very nice places on the waterfront in Burlingame, which I typically recommend to people who want to fly into SFO. If you're flying into San Jose, you could do worse than the Doubletree on the Old Bayshore Hwy, I've been to conventions there and it's spiffy.
