Keep the 49ers up there. With all the additional stuff that was drawn up with the HP stadium proposal, methinks there is enough physical room for both these options.

Being a raiders fan I'd much rather the UN come to San Francisco I think that would be awesome.

US out of the UN. UN out of the US.

And no, I do not belong to nor do I have any affinity for the John Birch Society ... I just happen to like and agree with this particular slogan. When historians in the 23rd or 24th century look back at certain utopian schemes which welled up during the late Victorian Era, and, are likely to be discredited by the 22nd century, they will both laugh (at us) and cry (for us).

I couldn't agree more!

The UN should be sent to a more diverse central setting such as Central Europe or Northern Africa or the Middle East.

The UN in Oakland?

A good idea actually, that would force the authorities to keep the levels of crime and violence down.

Alternately, the Iron Triangle could be a good place for the UN, as it would mean cleaning up the neighborhood.

Because SF is obviously homogeneous.

Put the UN in the hills where there is very low crime.

Nahhhh..........Oakland is too nice for the UN. How about kick it out of the US altogether and place it in Iceland or someplace. I would love to see all the UN employees do without their perks!

Richmond. Right in the heart of the Iron Triangle.

Or if you don't want it in the Bay Area at all, how about SoCal - specifically Compton.
