So I found a new job and i told my director on the 10th that i will be leaving the company. My last day is the 19th so basically i'm short of the standard 2 week notice of 3 day.

shes currently on a business trip and hasnt been back at the office since the 7th. so shes pretty much screwed as she wont be in the office to deal w/ the transition and etc..

now she wants to know where i'm working for. do you think i should tell her where i will be working at or do u think its in my best interest to not tell her.

ne help would be helpful! thanks!

I wouldn't tell her anything. She might be the vindictive type and may try to poison your new employers opinion of you.

That's inappropriate for her to even request it and definitely not required on your part.

Do have a good relationship with her? Do you care about a reference for the future?
