Other than Craigslist, are there any good resources for finding month-to-month shared rentals? I am here for a job interview and need to buy myself some more time here so I can go to another interview. I can't afford to continue staying in hotels. Any suggestions?

Have you checked in over at
VRBO® is Vacation Rentals By Owner

there are lots of places that are fully furnished and cheaper than hotels...and no need to share with total strangers!

Some owners will give you a deal if you are looking at more than just a few nights...usually the deals get really good when you are adding weeks and sometimes months.

Good luck!

I am in similar boat as I will need to find short term rental. Unfortunately for my rental choices, I have 3 small doggies. I know there must be folks that don't take care of homes, but I have wooden floors in my current home and people say you can't tell that my home is home to three doggies due to wear/tear or smell. Is there any hope for me. I just need to find a place until I figure out where in SF to make a home/ Thanks for starting the thread.
