Pacifica is by no means a dump. Just because it's a little run down doesn't mean it's some horrible place like some people are making it out to be.

Exactly. I used to surf there once or twice a week. I don't know what some folks are expecting. Maybe they wouldn't be happy unless every town in California was torn down and rebuilt with the crappy, low quality cookie cutter construction? I'd consider living in Pacifica. They have old construction and new construction, and you can't beat the view they have!
