That's an awesome development that as usual, should have been done years ago, but at least it's on the right track now!

Not that we needed another coffee shop with fancy coffee and starter pastries. But glad to see that spot filled with a tasty cafe.

Oakland Broadway Uptown
One of the most beautiful buildings in Oakland. I was just looking at it this morning. I'll stop by and try the Horchata Latte tonight!

Where did you see this? All I had seen is the abandonment of the 20th <-> Berkeley segment from the plan. I'd of course prefer to see LRT, but maybe dedicated bus lanes in downtown could be shared with the downtown streetcar :daydreaming:

Yes it is. Café Madrid has been closed for a few years now. The service there was horrible.

I'm really looking forward to Tierra Mia. I am a bit of a Mexi-phile (if that's even a word). I just came back from Oaxaca and am now looking for either atole or champurrado - maybe Tierra Mia will have it.

The Broadway stretch is unchanged from the originally proposed route--it was always supposed to jog in to pick up Broadway at 20th Street (because Telegraph dead ends at Latham Square a few blocks after that). The Uptown Transit Station (or whatever it's called) is on 20th between Telegraph and Broadway, so Telegraph buses cut over to Broadway there today. The Telegraph BRT route (20th to Berkeley) is what they dropped, but it could easily be added in the future following the same route they studied originally if Berkeley ever changes its tune.

Analog - 412 14th Street
Apparently this restaurant will take you back to the 1980s. It'll have LP covers and TVs on the walls and a collection of over 500 VHS tapes.
