I was looking at the A's promotional schedule online today and I saw that Saturday, July 27th is Oaklandish Throwback T-shirt day presented by Tribune Tavern. As I die-hard A's fan and a collector of Oaklandish t-shirts, I just wet my pants.

This is excellent. I really appreciate Rebecca Kaplan's efforts.

It would be so much better right in downtown but that presents so many layers or bureaucracy and so much added cost that it would spend years in litigation and multiple, lengthy EIRs and so forth.

Pie in the sky. There's no public money and no private demand for a giant new development at the Coliseum.

#buzzkill...lol

Im aware of the sobering truth, but Im thinking there might be more to it than what we know if the city is throwing $500K at the study on top of a recent $1 Million grant to study the project as well.
