Well apart from the one on B'way and Pleasant Valley, they are all terribly cramped being among the oldest in the entire chain. And parking is impossible at all of them.

To be honest tho, I really dont want them to supersized. Better parking would be nice tho.

Beautify Lake Merritt

Quote:
Kayakers float on the channel under the new 12th Street bridge as they wait for the celebration of the re-opening of a 750-foot section of the Lake Merritt Channel to begin in Oakland, Calif., on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013. The new 100-foot-wide free flowing tidal channel, for the first time since 1869, allows boats to travel from the Lake Merritt Channel to Lake Merritt . This is the first of a series of projects that will eventually connect Lake Merritt to the Oakland Estuary.

Nido. On Oak Street in between 4th and 5th. It's been open for a few months but I don't think it has been mentioned on this thread.

I like how this restaurant expands the Jack London restaurant footprint further south and towards the Nimitz.

Juhu Beach Club is opening up any day now. I heard everything was excellent during last week's preview dinner.

Top Chef alum Preeti Mistry switched sides, and moved over to Oakland. Indian Street Food? Score!
