Looks nice and all, but after a decade in the works, I'll believe it when I see it. What are they building first? Seems like a lot more demand for housing than new office space

I'm still with the I'll believe it when I see it camp myself. However, this is a huge, huge, huge step.

Yeah, it always comes down to money. This project was approved and passed all of the legal scrutiny about 2 years ago but was on hold because of funding.

Now it appears that issue has been resolved.

I would also think this sends a message to developers of shovel-ready projects (SKS, Shorenstein) to start building.

I hope Signature doesn't groan about not having an "anchor tenant" for the offices and putter around like the aforementioned developers have.

I agree with chinese investment the funding is available.

If the chinese are allowed to be involved in construction and not just financing this is a done deal.
THe chinese are eager to be involved in consruction and show what they can do in the USA.
THey are constructing buildings and roads all over the world not so much in america.
