Does anyone have any info about the Woodland Creek condo complex in East Palo Alto?

Woodland Creek Apartment Homes

The condos are west of 101 and seem very nice. My wife, daughter and I would be renting from an individual condo owner. I just can't find any reviews or info on them, despite the fact that they are 8 years old.

These condos are not part the controversial "Woodland (such and such)" that are owned by Page Mill Properties. I have found plenty of [bad] reviews and info on those.

On a side-note, I was initially excited about this potential move. I have a job opportunity at a very promising company. However, like most things in the tech world, it will take at least 1 year for the stock to be of value to me. I also know very little about the area and am starting to have some serious doubts about uprooting my family to move there. Did I mention I'm also trying to sell my condo in NJ, which is down 20-30% from where I bought it? I'm just hoping to break even now! Stress

We're trying to secure a 6-month rental lease near Palo Alto so we can be close to the new job and "try out" the area before settling somewhere. Single-family (cat friendly) homes are really hard to find, and a lot of the mega-complexes (Archstone, Avalon, BRE, Prometheus) seem to get terrible reviews online.

I initially moving to the area would be good for us because I have a 16-month old daughter and don't like the high-cost of living and struggle to find good public schools where in the NYC area where we currently live. But as I research the Bay Area, it's becoming clear that it's going to be a struggle to find what I'm looking for out there - the public school system is confusing and the real estate prices are super-high.

I was really excited when the idea of things just consisted of a cool opportunity and a hot company in an area with nice weather. Now that I'm getting down to the gritty details, I'm not sure if this is the best move for my family. If I was still in my 20's with no mortgage and no child, it would be a no-brainer. Now it's a bit harder.

Sorry for the digression. If anyone is familiar with the condos I first mentioned, please let me know.
