Either way is a compromise.. better neighborhood and home with an aneurysm-inducing commute, better commute but lousier house, or spend 150% of your income on your mortgage. Let's say I can't mentally handle a long commute and my finances are limited, so what can I do?

We are selling our house 20 min from Stanford for $650k . ..2/1, moving ready. If anyone is interested...we do have an agent so it's all legit.

LOL... but the OP is from 2007, and no surprise, they ended up moving to Austin TX. Guess we scared them away!
