Anyone out there commute daily from Scotts Valley to North San Jose? How long does your commute take?

Since nobody has answered, I'll add that it'll take you about 20-25 minutes to get from SV to Campbell without traffic.

You'll have to gauge it from there to N. San Jose. Obviously it all depends on what time you leave.

Not at all clear what "crankster" means. Sounds pejorative though. So bigdumgod thinks he's too good for the Central Valley. Live in an armpit? Out in the Valley we don't have people that talk-think like that.

I started checking it out in 1956. It was a rural bus stop then. Hasn't outgrown its roots too much since then. From one standpoint taken a turn for the worse.

I was just driving through Scotts Valley yesterday to go hiking with my dad up to the lime kilns in Henry Cowell State Park and I was like, yeah not much has really changed since the last time I was there. It hasn't even really changed all that much from when I was a teen in the late 90s in Santa Cruz.

If someone is checking out Scotts Valley, I'd say check out Felton as well. It's right down the road and feels a little more charming as far as Santa Cruz Mountain towns go.

It's changed a lot since I was a teen in the late 50's.

I commuted for roughly a year from Scotts Valley to downtown San Jose.

Average commute was an hour or so. Highway 17 is a pretty big pain in the butt to drive, to be honest.

Yes it is. I must admit that was my deciding factor to move back and buy in Boulder Creek instead of buying in Scotts Valley.

Coming over Bear Creek I skip the bad part of 17. My commute is a breeze.
